I thinking about ammo carrying options for my 9.3x74R.

I do love Jaques Tredoux's options. I have his culling belt for my .416 Rigby and it truly is "Art"

For this Chapuis 9.3x74R double I am tossing up between the belt or trying some of his ammo pouches.

There are some cheaper Aussie options, but Jaques gear truly is nice.

For those that have tried both options what do they prefer ?

I have a Els & CO open top slider made for doubles, Have used it with my 500/416 alot and like it. Have been using a Murry Leather slider for my 9.3x74 (Plan to upgrade to the Els & CO one that will fit this round.). Have a culling belt for my 375 class rounds. I like the culling belt but just haven't used it much.

Culling Belts are a little ostentatious for the traveling sportsman IMO, get a smaller slide or "pouch". Can't go wrong with any of the Murray Leather Products....not sure if its easy to do though being in Australia....

I have his ammo pouches for my .375 and love them. He also made me a custom designed carrier to put shells in for riding around in the truck. A little more durable and classier than the standard ammo box.

I have an Els & Co. Rhodes Classic Cartridge Pouch for my Ruger No. 1S in 9.3x74r that I like a lot. Based on its quality, I would consider purchasing their Somerset model made for doubles if I had one. I've never used a culling belt.

I have and use both, but i found; at east for me, is that the type of hunt determined my ammo carry. I even put extra ammo in my pants pocket because of the quick retrieval capability (and we all not that's not the way to go!)
