Harvested in Tanzania last August. Rug created by @Animal Artistry. The animal was fantastic! The rug is fantastic...and big! I had trouble finding a wall big enough.

Thank you very much for sharing a photo and doing business with us! We love hearing feedback from clients--glad you are satisfied with the results! Thanks again and enjoy the rug!!

Awesome! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Good looking rug!

Good looking rug! I do like the mounting "Tabs" sewn into the underlayment for mounting.

Well, it is a rug. Put it on the floor. They are very durable.

What is underlay material ? Thanx

Awesome!

Beautiful!

Beautiful hide.

I agree with @Red Leg They are very durable. My daughter has a Hartman’s zebra on the floor in her room, after over a year it still looks new with no visible wear.

I have a tanned zebra full hide . Should I have leather backing under it or can I just put on wood floor as is. Any recommendations for taxidermist to do this near Montana. My taxidermist does not do backings for hides.

Mine (or my daughter’s!) is just on the Wood floor with no backing. Doesn’t seem to be any issues. I love sitting on it when I’m permitted to enter her room.
We have other skins around the house. The red hartebeest is quite a beautiful hide.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
