Last time I had custom earplugs molded to my ears was at a shoot about seven years ago and need a new pair made . Called an Audiologist here in Western Pa and she wants $100.00 per ear so $200.00 , what seems to be a decent price for this . I tried one of those kits from Midway
and made my own , you get what you pay for . Thanks

I believe I got an ear exam, audiology test and fitted for custom plugs for about the same price. I have this done every few years, and I think the last time was 2023.

I wear ear plugs for work daily and in most cases, I'm doubling up with muffs over them. Working in loud mechanical rooms isn't much different than being on an indoor range. Plugs will last me at least five years or so before needing to be replaced due to wear and the fit deteriorating.

Molded ear protection is worth the money-period.

I have a pair of audiologist fitted Soundgear electronic ear plugs that were about $900 ish. I would do it again in a hot second.

I have those and just got the bluetooth/rechargeable version for $1600. I take both sets on hunting trip in case one goes out on me. I put them in at breakfast and take them out at dinner. Best money I have ever spent on my health.

Insta-Mold in Oaks PA (Philadelphia Suburbs) made mine about 15 years ago for about $50. The computerized hearing enhancement version was about $1000 then and about the same now. I should probably upgrade.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
