If we were permitted concealed carry in Australia I would own handguns again. Too many restrictions and range attendance requirements that I cannot meet with my peripatetic work life.

It all depends on whatever clothes I’m wearing, it ranges from a .380LCP, 9mm Shield or a Glock20 in 10mm.

my EDC,

Sig p365 macro 17+1 and came with 3 21 round mags and2 17 round mags, in a Vedder kydex holster, appendix carry. (you'll shoot your dick off! ;)) it came with a red dot sight on in, i can wear a fitted t shirt, no print. easy carry, lots of ammo ( i carry a spare mag in a cargo pocket).
Do you sit a lot for work? If so is it still comfortable?

HK CC9.

My son and I have been teaching Kansas Concealed Carry since our state initiated the program in 2006. I am always interested in what people choose to carry and why…if they want to share. After going through many models to include Glocks and Rugers, both of which I like, I finally settled on a Sig Sauer P365 in 9 X 19 with a Urban Carry Lock Leather IWB. Though the barrel is short, I like the micro-compact for concealability IWB at 4 o’clock position. A longer sight radius would be more accurate to shoot but I can shoot inside 12” consistently at 25 yards. Also, since we teach Women’s Basic Handgun, I would be interested in hearing what your wives, girl friends, moms like to carry in terms of model, caliber, semi-auto or revolver.

I'm in Australia, therefore am not permitted to carry. If I was to carry, I think it would be a Glock. My reasoning? Well, I've just gone through the process of obtaining my pistol licence, and I really don't have much experience with pistols. At the club I was able to shoot a lot of different pistols such as Walther PPQ, CZ Shadow 2, STI, Bul, and Glock. When you're a beginner, it's hard to know the difference in feel with many of them, because you don't know what you don't know. The Glock just felt simple, and to me, simple is good. It's just basic and functional. I'd imagine if I was allowed to carry on the street, that's what I would want, just a point and shoot, reliable, no frills gun. The price point isn't too bad either compared to some, so you won't cry if it is subject to a bit of wear and tear. In any case, I bought a Glock 34 gen 5 for the range and will get it shortly when my permit clears. It probably wouldn't cut it as an everyday carry perhaps, but in a smaller version, I think it would be pretty easy to live with.

In my opinion you have made an excellent choice...Glocks are about as dependable as you can get. They eat anything, few malfunctions in my experience, accuracy is good.....to me the Glocks are comparable to the WWII MI Garand....always work which builds the confidence you need in a firearm you rely upon.

Diamondback DB380 Gen 4... whatever I am wearing: front pocket, back pocket, vest pocket... they all work.
Definitely concealable and one you would readily carry since its adaptable to clothing.

Springfield Armory Garrison 4" 1911 with 125g Ultra Max hp 9mm in an Askins Avenger OWB.
Sig 938 Nightmare with Ultramax125g hp in a home made IWB.
Depending on situation and clothing.
Looks like that Sig 938 has come up before....nice looking firearm and looks good for concealment.

Glock 19 or 30 OWB holster. Shirt always covers, no problem printing. IWB holsters are all terrible. I said what I said and I'll die on that hill. I will use one rarely if the situation dictates and I hate wearing it.

A pocket knife, folder and fixed. I also carry a MK9 can in my truck and a framing hammer. Cause ya never know.

Cheers,

Does anyone rate the Beretta PX4 Storm? I had a go with one during a range visit to Phoenix a few years back and it seemed to have a nice size and profile. My government also doesn’t trust us with handguns of any description so this is purely theoretical on my part.
