Up for sale is a Colt 454 Casull. This gun was built by Gary Reeder. The barrel, cylinder, grips were all changed. Upgrades listed below. Since the rebuild I have never shot the gun. Been sitting in my safe, time for a new home. Very fine hand gun. Price is $3000 shipped from my FFL to your FFL.

Custom engraving
Mongolian stag grips
Fiber optic front sights
Ported barrel
Oversized 5 shot cylinder
Reworked Action
Maxi Throat

That is one beautiful piece of work.

 Sh*t you are absolutely right. My apologies, it is a Ruger Blackhawk not a Colt. Thanks for the correction Hoofnit.

I don’t believe anyone has been crazy enough to try to build a 454 on a SAA frame yet. I might be wrong but that is a New Model BH frame with Gary’s Gun Fighter Grip Frame. Fine Revolver in a excellent cartridge. Priced well below what you will pay to have Reeder build a new one for you. This reminds me to ship a SBH down to him for a 500 Linebaugh build! GLWS!

I just went back and checked. It was built off a old model Super Blackhawk.

I believe that is a built on a New Model Super Blackhawk frame.
Old model would have three screws, new model has two, as does this one.

Well I completely screwed this listing up lol. Buyer to verify new or old model.

It's a new model Blackhawk. The old model three screw Blackhawk hasn't been made for 40+ years.

It also has nothing to do with Colt.

Thanks for the clarification.

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
