Glad he had the chance to do so. Would hate for my retriever to come across a 3 foot gator when getting a duck for me.

All I can say is I hope he used enough gun.
Man we get goannas bigger than that in the Australian bush. That massive 3 footer could have been picked up and put in the backpack and handed in.
