CANADA: Upland In A Warm Spell

A friend of mine has a young Vizsla with a lot of farm experience but no wild hunts. We took him out, but I think the pheasants had their way with him He got on the scent very well. But the birds did not flush, and we believe they kept under the dense, tall grass and wandered off. One flushed but away from us, so there was no shot. We were out a long time, and the poor little guy will sleep well tonight!

It runs until December 31st. Today was a particularly beautiful day for it.
