I have been a contributor to Conservation Force for many years. CF also did the successful USFWS Import Permits for my Botswana elephant, Tanzania lion, South Africa bontebok and Mozambique leopard. I just received an email with breaking news from John Jackson that is great news for Botswana elephant hunters.

As you may know, Conservation Force has a wildlife management MoU with the Botswana Department of Wildlife and National Parks, was the primary funding sponsor of their National Elephant Management and Action Plan and assisted in the completion and implementation of that plan. That management plan was the first ever finalized for Botswana and essential for trophy imports into the USA. In partnership with DSC, CF also provided the Botswana Elephant Coordinator with a Toyota Landcruiser to oversee implementation of the management plan. CF has also recently agreed to sponsor the renewal of Botswana's five-year plan that is expiring in 2026.

In late April, CF learned that a Botswana Elephant Import Permit application filed by CF was issued in unprecedented time - less than five days! For those that don't know, CF created the standard Operator Enhancement Report that USFWS now uses for applications. Getting an elephant import permit approved in only four days is amazing! Congrats to the CF team and the hunter! Without CF, would any of us be getting our animals into the USA? I think not. John and his team have been working on our behalf for decades.

Conservation Force does great work and are definitely worthy of donations!

Great news. Better for elephants. Better for governments. Better for hunters. Better for everyone. Good job CF!

I'm hoping to need their services again soon!

I support them as well and in gratitude for what they did for all of us refuse to use anyone else when I need help importing a trophy

Also used them and grateful. I hunted an area that was new for my outfitter so I kinda sweated getting the permit. Took the elephant in July 2023. Permit issued in the fall of 2025. My tusks came in last month. They’re at a taxidermist for mounting on pedestal bases. Should have them in 8 weeks. I’m stoked! Conservation force was great. They did the paperwork for my leopard too and it was pretty quick.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
