Yes sir that's correct. But some BLRs have alloy receivers and some have steel. Was just wondering which yours has.

It is brand new in the box. Never been fired. I would not know. Only came out of the box for pictures.

That would be the "lightweight" BLR then. My buddy has a steel receiver .30-06 BLR and his son the same in the alloy. With the same scopes on them, there is only a couple of ounces difference in weight. Go figure?
