Big Warthogs

I’ve seen really big warthogs in Coutada 10 in Mozambique where I shot the 3rd biggest we saw and in the kalahari region of South Africa. These two regions seem to have one thing in common, no rocks to break tusks on. The delta in Mozambique is one area drought is normally not an issue as warthog require consistent water.

Just how big are you looking for? I got this one two weeks ago in the Kalahari, SA.

Thank you for posting this question. I have been too scared to ask. LOL. Well maybe lazy.

Rem280, seriously. If your gonna go to Africa make the effort and get some Pork on your Fork

.280 is a good idea, .280a.i. is a better good thing, would love to take a .280a.i. to Africa and hunt a heap of hogs.

Same with the black backed jackals. If you remember during our hunt and the PHs were talking about shooting jackals and I mentioned when I worked at a middle school, we had a number of little jackals. They thought they were "golden" jackals but they weren't. You stated the PHs were talking about the four legged kind. LOL

I don't call them "Little Jackals" downunder, I don't call em little rascals either. I don't even call em little Dingoes after our native dog , sheep marauding critters.

I can't say what I call em but I can't work in middle school with my attitude toward the little sh!ts.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
