With the 210 VLDs, 3050 is the sweet spot in my 9 twist barrel, around 244k rpm.I used to shoot the 210 Berger in my 300 Norma Improved at 3225 fps but they were a little splashy on game at that speed. Likely fine around 3000-3050. I now shoot the 230 Berger’s at 3100 and very happy with them.
If you get a chance, could you report on their accuracy versus the Bergers. I've shot Barnes in a BPS inline but never had acceptable centerfire accuracy beyond 200 meters in a variety of cartridges/calibers.That’s great testimony. And, an amazing shot.
