Barrel twist rates

What is the best twist rate for heavy for caliber bullets in medium and large bore calibers? From what I’ve seen, most dangerous game rifles have a 1 in 12 up to 1 in 16 inch twist rate. Wouldn’t a faster rate help stabilize a heavier bullet better?

There’s a formula called the Miller Twist Rate. The thing it doesn’t take into account is bullet construction. Too fast a bullet can potentially come apart, but you can theoretically go faster than SAAMI

Monolithic long copper bullets need a faster twist rate because of their length than a comparable, traditional lead copper bullet in the same weight
