Hi everyone. I am a South-African PH and would like to know where can i buy a Baikal Artemida 45-70 double rifle in South-Africa or how can i have it imported to SA?

I have an office in CTN. Have been trying [with not much success] to get info from Baikal North American import/distro people [in Canada...] about how to get them here in the US. If I come up with anything, will follow up with possibility of RSA.

Have you talked with EAA in Clearwater Florida. They are the US importers of Baikal and Sabbati rifles.

If anyone gets a solid line on where these rifles are available please post the details here. I own a Baikal 30-06 s/s and would jump at the chance to grab one of these newer versions.

Don't have experience with Artemida but I do have with .45-70. I hunted in Namibia with my Marlin 1895G (warthog, zebra, oryx, blue w. and red hartebeest). If you need more details I'm at your disposal but in short - good for meat (no damage) but do not stop the game as I expected
