Members, some feedback in regards to a product I bought and am using on the M96 Carl Gustav 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser (Military Surplus rifle)
I want to purchase the same product to fit onto my K31 Schmidt & Ruben 7.5x55 rifle as well
This type of scope mount gives me the opportunity to use a rifle scope on the rifle without any permanent changes to the rifle .
No drill/tap procedures of the receiver/action.
It is an easy procedures to fit it yourself onto your rifle , no gunsmith needed.
It is affordable, a quality product, strong, robust design with no moving parts.
Members in the USA /Canada have direct access to this product. ( We in South Africa is not so lucky)
Here are some photos of this product.

Hi Gert,
Thanks for the review, we have been told about this product as a solution for military rifles, but not been able to be hands on as it were.
As long as it does what you need!
Oh that looks like some serious glass on there!

If I had known about this earlier, I would have picked one up for you and brought it with us to RSA.

BeeMaa, thank you kindly , it is much appreciated when members are always willing to assist in a request to bring products to SA that usually is not found here in South Africa.
These days I am careful not to ask members to bring products to South Africa ...since flights landing in Doha/ arabic region are search and anything remote related to fire arms are confiscated.
I had feedback from members that they experienced this even now at the South African SA Police offices here on OR Tambo Airport.( still awaiting conformation in this regards)

When ever there is a direct flight the risk is much less than the doha flights. I would ask members to bring products in to SA with a direct flight.

Some feedback in regards to the BAD ACE NO DRILL/TAPP LOW PROFILE scope mount:
I mounted it onto the M96 Carl Gustav 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser ( Mill Surp) rifle . I did not want to affect any changes/permanent conversions to this beautiful 1923 version .
I mounted the scope mount, add a cheek piece padded canvas product to align my eye to the lens of the FFP 5-25X50mm rifle scope.

I am currently re-loading for the M96 ..Lapua 139gn bullets using new Lapua cases .

I am duplicating my loads I se in the Shilen barrel M96 action . The Shilen Barrel 6.5x55 use a SONCHEM 365, 43.4gn propellant, 78.75mm OAL .

It is an accurate load in the Shilen...I did commence with an 1 gn less propellant in the M96 Carl Gustav and already the grouping is promising.

Yet another benefit of having a Blaser R8 in a Pelican 1700 case. It would look like just another part for my rifle that I would have to assemble. LOL. Could be packaged and shipped to you after that. We flew direct from Atlanta to OR Tambo so the risk with Doha is removed.

BeeMaa, thank you kindly , this is much appreciated. I really will ask you in the future if there is a product I am in need of . I am extremely fortunate to have members on this great forum who in the past were willing to bring products to South Africa for me..this is always much appreciated if challenges can be remove from this procedure. Thank you kindly again...

Novice Huntres, for sure, this really is a great product if you do not want to make any changes to an original mill surp rifle ...I was fortunate to get a BAD ACE N/D/T scope mount for the K31 Smidt&Ruben 7.5x55 SWISS rifle as well ...

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
