Australia, hunting, game variety

There is another point as well in that it depends on who is deciding if the animals are a game species, that is huntable for sport or the table, or a pest species as in having bred up into numbers that is damaging to the environment they live in. Farmers will have a different take on the numbers to hunters who will have a different take on them to the environmentalist, the politician and that can be different between the government politician and those in oposition and then there are those who have a vested interest (business) in either supporting the hunting of these animals or the removal by any means of them.

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
