just came back first trip to south africa with son .I shot 3 animals with bow kudu ,nyala and warthog .shot 5 other with rifle(son shot 9 with rifle).outfitter was not set up as good as I hoped for bowhunting(picked this outfitter because my son wanted to spot and stalk rifle).one blind at each water hole so wrong wind was a waste of time .was told afterwards they were going to have two blinds a each hole one for north and one for south winds.place was loaded with game (rifle hunters paradise) but very little action at water holes even with dark moon and temps 36 in am and 82 in afternoon.hunted saw only one impala in 10 days come to water hole.crazy and there was hundreds of them on the properties.one water hole did have two blinds and feeders problem was usually had 10 to 20 kudu eating (was cool at first) but realized probably kept smaller animals from coming in.I know a few outfitters like bushmens, dries visser, lincroma do have a lot of you tube archery videos.any recommendations appreciated for next years hunt.thank you for your time

There are some folks that understand bow hunting and some that just stab at it.
I hope your search works.

I had great success with my first hunt in Africa with an outfitter/PH named John Henry Keyser who has property that is exclusively bow hunting. He has other ranches where he rifle hunts, but his home ranch is bow only. There is a hunt report for it on the bow hunting section here and you can see some of the photos of the waterholes - plenty of action.

There are some other bow only outfitters here that have great reputations but I have not personally hunted with them to say anything first hand about them.

Seriously though, unless both the PH is a bow hunter himself and the blinds were installed/designed by bow hunters, you are going to have some issues. Rifle blinds do not make good bow blinds and rifle hunters are very unlikely to set up bow blinds well.

I can whole heartedly endorse @Limcroma Safaris. They have lots of area exclusively dedicated to bow hunting and exceptional trophies.

Their US rep @firehuntfish is a passionate bow hunter too and has posted a few reports here.

Agagia in Namibia , they do carry gun hunters but on different property. if the wind is wrong they will move you to a different blind. African Barefoot Safaris S.A.
Have never herd anything but very good about Limcroma in S.A . Forrest

Another vote for Hannes Els at Limcroma Safaris.
Even Ted Nugent recommends Hannes.

I can 2nd recommendation for John Henry Keyser with Greatland Safari out of Thabazimbi- there are at least 4 hunting reports here on his outfit.

There's one more from around 2007 or 2009 that I can't find

I have several friends that have also hunted with Dries Visser and all had great experiences with very good animals. Dries is also out of Thabazimbi .

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
