Anyone have the reloading data for these I called Swift, but they have not gotten back with me. I have the book, but these are not included. Any help would be greatly appreciated

JJ's load for a Heym A-frames 79.0gr IMR3031 with 2gr Dacron over filler or one of the commercial plugs!
For the Break-Away solids Bill (owner) at Swift said reduce load by 1.5-2gr, He said about the same
'Reduction in powder charge for most bigger calibers and I've found that works well in 450-400 double
and 375 H&H and 416 Rigby!
In all 3 of my doubles that formula with very little fine tuning gives same point of impact and same in the bolt guns.
Hope that helps! Knowing what gun u own and what loads you have been able to regulate with would help! I have a lot of data I've tried in the 470NE and so I happy to share my experience.

77gr is typically the standard "soft" load for a vintage 470NE using IMR3031.

79gr is very high with 3031 for a soft. It would be exceedingly high for a solid. (usually 1gr-1.5gr LOWER for a solid than a soft)

I would start at 75gr of 3031 with dacron on that bullet and work up in 2-tenths a grain increments until regulation is found.

What you can get away with in a Modern Heym is far different than what you can safely use in a vintage gun or one from a lesser make. These are double rifles, so we don't care about velocity, we just want regulation. MOST 470NE find regulation between 75gr and 78gr.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
9 game animals taken
