Any thoughts on what HEYM new rifle is?

Now THAT is a rifle.

I am either doing one of these in .450 or the Rigby .275 (should one ever get on the frigging market).

From Chris:
"I always hand-select the wood for our show rifles, and I generally upgrade them too (who doesn't like pretty wood, right?)

Here are a couple of examples of wood that we will have on the new 89B.

470 NE on the top
500 NE on the bottom

I'm tempted to hang on to one of these two for myself! "

very nice wood.......you are being very evil with all this temptation !.......:E Nono: :E Big Grin:

The peep sight ghost ring is the best idea for a rear sight I have ever seen on a double.....

Dream rifle right there...one set of barrels in 500 NE, one set in 375 Flanged magnum or 9.3x74R and a shottie...all anyone could ever need....

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
