Ok gentlemen
So 4350 obviously seems to be a go to for 6.5CM. but this powder can be difficult to source sometimes. And for members outside of the USA, might not even be a option. I'm interested in what others around the globe and in the USA are using for 6.5CM

RL-17 is my powder of choice for 140 grain hunting bullets, and also 155 gr Megas. (My Tikka has a long-ish throat which works well with the 155s seated out a little.)

H-4350 is what I initally used for ringing steel with the longer range rifle using 140 gr ELDXs. And of course it also works with hunting bullets, but was unobtainable for a time.

For the 120's I use Varget.
For the 143's (ELD-X & Norma BondStrike) I've used both H4350 & StaBALL 6.5.

I've a pile of 156 gr. Oryx that I'll be working up a load using Vihtavuori N555. If that works well, then I'll try N555 on some 160 gr. Weldcores.

I haven't been able to find staball 6.5 I'm sure it's probably available online but I usually try to shop for powder it in the stores to keep from paying hazmat charges. I use Vihtavuori in my other loads I'll have to look for some 555 and try it

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
