Action Screws Tightening Torque

Anyhow, I did not intend to 'hijack' this thread.

There are many factors that may affect accuracy of a firearm, the 'fit' of stock and bedding (if any) being among them. One reason that a proper full stock is so much more costly than half or 3/4 stock is the necessity of finding properly grained and cured wood.

For specifics and particulars one may wish to consult a European stock maker as the stutzen is more familiar and well known on the European continent and its craftsmen.

@ofbiro ...........I have always been recommended 15 for rings, 30 for bases and 55 for action torques.........in inch/pounds. With no other changes except the stock am assuming a pressure point fairly far forward..........best of luck..........FWB

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
