Does anyone have load data for .401 win autoloading? I have a chance to buy an original 1910 Winchester rifle in that caliber but can’t seem to find a source of brass or any reference in my manual.

any information will be greatly appreciated!

Lyman/Ideal No. 40 handbook (1955) lists 200 and 250 grain jacketed bullet data as follows:
200gr:
start at 19.0gr of 2400, max 24.7gr
start at 29.0gr of 4227, max 31.0gr
250gr:
start at 18.0gr of 2400, max 23.3gr
start at 19.0gr of 4227, max 27.5gr
Powders have been reformulated in the ensuing time of course

I am using 200 grain jacketed bullets with 27 and 28 grains of IMR4227.
Also 27 grains imr4227 with 200 cast bullets
And 25 grains with 250 grain cast gas checked bullets.
I made cases from 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel Basic brass and 414 super mag brass all worked well.
Did get proper head stamped brass from rusty woods in mission, made by quality cartsidge in the states.
Also have three 1907 rifles in 351 Winchester SL.
