I currently have a CZ550 375H&H with a PG safari planned for 2019.
My wife came to me today and said..."What's after Africa?"
Africa will certainly be back on the list, but I'm looking for a little variety.
So I have the one gun to hunt the world, and a wife willing to go with me to do so.

Where would you take a 375 and what would you hunt?
Please know I will steal any and all ideas and pass them off as my own to my bride.

Central Africa.

Well, you can shoot two and it's nothing to see over 10 bears a day.... Every day. Just be careful not to slip on the moose Patty's.

Like salmon? 1/3 Rd of the world's salmon come from there.

Derby Eland
Rocky Mountain Elk
Alaskan Moose

Alaska: Brown bear, black bear, moose.

A very expensive antelope found in tropical jungles with dense undergrowth up to an altitude of 4,000 meters (13,000 feet) in Central Africa, with isolated populations in Kenya, and these West African countries: Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan.
Excellent, very good.
I will inform the Department of Finance now, so as to lessen the blow when I bring it up again in a few years.
Should go very well, yes...very well indeed.

Did I mention that I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this thread?
Keep it coming gents.

BTW - BRICKBURN, I love the ivory tips on your Bongo, a real beauty.

LOL, we have no shortage of ideas to spend other member’s money!

Great post. I think to justify the weight you lug around it would have to be somewhere where the animal poses a serious danger. I have taken mine moose hunting but the rifle bulkiness gets to me in that terrain after a while. Having said that, I think Alsaka, North BC are perfect places.

I used the .375 when deer hunting the islands in Prince William Sound, Alaska. You never knew when you would bump into a brown bear. Hinchinbrook Island bears are particularly grumpy. I don’t know for certain that it is true, but I am told that problem bears used to be relocated to Hinchinbrook until they decided to just shoot them. Good story and the attitude of the bears there would certainly support it. Kind of a bear penal colony.

Will you be taking the bride with you?

The world is your oyster with a 375 H&H that you can shoot well, make your pick, you will be just fine with the King of the medium bores.

Now there is an agreement!

Everyone makes it, pretty much everyone can shoot it, you can get ammo world wide, with the propper bullet and shooter it will knock everything down close up and you don't get a hernia carrying it around.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!
