I just dropped my first buffalo with the outfitter's CZ 550 in .375. I put the shot a hair back of where i would have loved to have hit and was behind the shoulder barely. He went 40 yards and dropped. Blew through both lungs and the top of the heart which was surprising. Never found the bullet.

Here is a bigger kicker - the ammo they had was Hornady bonded DGX.

Have been seeing good reports on the new DGX Bonded bullets. The photos of recovered bullets that I have seen look very good.

Congratulations on your first Buffalo.

Also congratulations on your buffalo and that you dared to shot it with a DGX bullet from Hornady.

Congrats to the buff with the varmint round. :-). Although I prefer other projectiles, I would have no problem using a truly bonded DGX. The problem was, at one point, the term "bonded" was used loosely. How about a picture of the buff? Congrats again (and obviously kidding about the varmint round).

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
