Here's a 300g A-Frame from the Remington Premier Ammunition. I shot a 9' brown bear at 13 yards he was facing me diagonally. It entered just behnd the right shoulder and was recovered from the skin of his left thigh pentrating the entire length of the bear. It still weighs 299.5 grains

I had a box of dud 10mm auto from a well respected manufacturer that specializes in full power self defense loads. Turned out they had installed primers with no anvil which were produced by a well respected manufacturer.
The sole purpose of that pistol was for defense against what I consider the most dangerous animal on the planet. The two legged variety that does not wake up with good intentions.
I put a few down range out any box of factory ammunition that could have dire consequences in the event of a misfire.
