I am looking to develop a 375 H&H load with the 276 HHT in my CZ 550.

Powders I have readily available:

Bechmark
Ball C
CFE 223
Varget
IMR 8208 XBR
H4350
Superformance
And a bunch that are likely too slow burning.

Please share what you have.

I've had good luck with Reloader 15 and a 275 grain CEB Safari Raptor. That powder may work well with the Hammer. I've had good results with Hammer bullets on plains game. I'd like to see how they perform on Buffalo.

I use 299gr Stone Hammers along with CFE223. I have two rifles in 375H&H, one a M70 Safari and the other Blasewr R8. Both shoot MOA with the same load. I’m getting 2550 - 2600fps.

If you call or email Steve Davis, owner of Hammer Bullets, he will help you. I have called a couple times, incredibly good customer service. Very likely he has a few loads that could get you well on your way.

use the 281 gr Stone Hammer data. The 276 is only 0.046" longer.

Steve's guidance will be "start at the bottom, proceed in 0.5 gr increments until you see signs of pressure."

In my 375H&H I get the best velocity and groups with AR2209 (H4350). This is in all bullet weights. Except when using the Woodleigh Hydros as they are tool long and use to much powder space in the Rem 700. I use AR2206H (H4895) for that. Still has same POI as the other 300grain bullet loads. I might give BM8208 (8208XBR) a try.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
