linecreek I'm interested in your Enfield 350 Rigby project.
Have you made any progress you can report on?

A question: did you have to do a slant box magazine or any mods to the Enfield M17 mag to work in your rifle. The reason I ask is I'm considering a 350 Rigby or a modified 9.3x74R and am looking at what has to be done with the Enfield magazine to get this to work.

a friend had a rigby takedown 400/350 mauser.
this rimmed case is the progenitor of the rigby 350s, and some say still the best with its 310 gn bullet.
the rifling was not the standard square cornered type, and it was hard to see its true form just looking up the barrel
perhaps ratchet rifling, or metford segmental.
the 9.3 x 74 slant magazine is similar to the rigby one.
not sure if the aust bonded core bullet maker makes a bullet for this one.

Sorry Bruce, somehow I missed your post......below is the 9.3x74R in the modified P14 action.....I have since taken about another 5mm out of the action towards the trigger after fitting the Timney trigger...the cartridge is 3.775 inches or 95.9mm COAL.....

Porker, Philip Massaro (Writer and reloader) is quite into the 350 Rigby. Think he's taking one to Africa soon.
