Hello all, we are happy to offer our annual upland bird hunting packages in the heart of Texas Quail country. Quail numbers last year were outstanding, and we are hoping the trend continues to this upcoming season. It's been dry but we are starting to get rain and the forecast for this spring is very promising. We have spent the last two years really focusing on improving quail habitat and it certainly has been paying off. In addition to quail, you will have the opportunity to hunt pheasant and chukar. We have some of the best dogs you will ever have the pleasure to hunt over, first class lodging, and unmatched meals and service. Many AH'rs make this an annual trip and it's a great way to spend quality time outdoors with friends and family.
The season for native quail runs Nov 1 through the last day of February. We are a private bird preserve so we can hunt release birds on our own schedule. We open up our upland hunts Oct 1 and run through March weather dependent.
The hunt includes: Guides, meals, lodging, alcohol in moderation, birds, dogs, and bird cleaning/taxidermy prep if needed.
Not included: Pre/Post trip expenses, shotgun rental, ammunition, Texas hunting license, tips, etc... You are welcome to purchase ammunition at the lodge if flying in. Please just give us advance notice of gauge and shot preference and we will provide pricing in advance. As many know pricing varies quite a bit as to gauge and shot size but we can accommodate just about anything.
It is a two-person minimum however, if you are a single you can jump in on any of the open AH group hunts throughout the year.
Cost: 3 day 4 night all inclusive package is $2500 per hunter
2 day 3 night package is $1950
Non-hunting observers $200/person/night
Extra days and or big game hunting may be added for standard price list
