2 1/2” shells

I have an old Parker VH 16 gauge SxS I believe that it’s chambered for 2 1/2” shells. Would that be correct? and if so, is it possible to buy shells to shoot out of the gun?
 
Yes and yes. Just make sure the barrel wall thickness is enough so it’s safe to shoot.
