    I asked this same question to ActionBob. How does one safely purchase a rifle from this AH classifieds with not knowing the seller or the product their advertising? Thank you!

    PM the seller with specific questions and request photos. You must already know what questions to ask about certain guns. I have bought and sold guns on this forum and never had an issue. Once a member has sold a couple of guns successfully, as I have, he will have developed a good reputation that other potential buyers can rely on.

    Hello again, SierraOne, Re Ruger no 1 in 416 Rigby I bought? My importer reckons the problem is with the exporter, Mark Burger, of N F G R. I The worst part of it is my Doctor says no heavy recoiling firearms, I'm interested in what Mark says about the delay, if it is on the U S end, or over here. If you know, or hear anything, on the subject, please let me know? Cheers, and good hunting!

    Hi Geoff, Heard back from Burger by text. The 1H is with a larger group of items being exported to Australia. The problem is with the group, not the individual rifle. They are all in a secure facility in the U.S. waiting for the problem to be hashed out. I asked Mark to contact your importer and explain this to him. He said he would. Send you email address.

    I've started negotiations with the Aussie importer, Black Range Firearms to initiate the purchase; his FF holder is in Montana, I think, so once payment is secured, arrangements would need to be made to send it up there.
    Would it be feasable for you to let me have the serial number please?
