OK people.

This will be a hard one but only one picture allowed of you and a trophy that takes you back to a best memory in Africa!

Have fun choosing and reflecting!!

After 3 days humping up and down South African mountains, my hardest earned trophy. It wasn’t so much the number of days it was the difficulty of someone from flat sea level going up and down mountains. A representative klippy.

Botswana NG43, one month before the closure.

Zimbabwe Delta Mozambique after two long hot humid weeks at the end of October trying to take a big blue Livingstone Eland.

@PeteG over the magnificent sable we finally took after long days of searching and passing on other bulls on Mike's @spike.t wonderful Takeri Reserve in Zambia. I think Pete was every bit as happy as his client.

My favorite because my son is trying to not look too proud of himself, but he did a great job and it was a great chase.

I took a P&Y elk on a Montana archery hunt about 20 years ago. A memorable hunt and my favorite trophy.

More recently, in 2025, I took a very nice Cape buffalo in the Caprivi and my PH took a fantastic photo.

NM speed goat with my oldest son, I’ve always loved this picture my buddy took and didn’t know it until he sent it to me.

Since the OP said specifically Africa here’s my favorite. My then 9 year old sons hard earned Warthog from Limpopo taken on day 4 of our safari. It was a particularly hot, dusty afternoon. Just before dark he made a perfect shot dropping the animal on the spot. I don’t know who was more proud, my son, me or the PH. Warthog was his must have number one animal that he truly wanted.

Thank you for the LIKE on my old post. It brought back memories as I lost her a year and a half ago, at 18+ years.
