Rigby Dagga Boy Award III Updated Rules And Conditions For 2025-2026 Season

I’d like to put another vote in for a kindle edition. I’d really like to read the stories and don’t need the glossy photos.

Yes I’m pretty sure they confirmed a few months ago that physical books will be offered again

Yes, there will be hard copies available for purchase on the Rigby website and likely at the trade shows in the new year. Thank you for your interest!

I believe that there will be 1,000 copies printed, which should cover the potential demand.

Yes, we are printing hard copies and they will be available for sale on the Rigby website and likely at the shows next year. The plan is to have 1,000 copies printed.
 
NOTICE

The closing date for the third Rigby Dagga Boy Award has been extended to midnight on Monday 14 December 2026. With buffalo hunts taking place until the end of November eligible for entry, the extra time gives hunters and Professional Hunters an opportunity to prepare their accounts and gather the photographs needed for entry.

The award is open to eligible old buffalo bulls hunted between January 2025 and the end of November 2026. Entries should be emailed to daggaboy@johnrigbyandco.com. Please read the terms and conditions and full entry requirements before submitting, including the requirement for photographs of the lower jaw.

The winning hunter will receive a Rigby .416 Big Game rifle, and the Professional Hunter who guided the hunt will receive a Rigby .450 PH rifle. The winner will be announced at the Dallas Safari Club Convention in January 2027.
