Good afternoon fellow AHers.
I have decided to streamline my left handed rifles and try and sell some of the redundant caliber/rifle configurations that I have accumulated over the years.
Not quite sure how many I am going to try and sell, as I struggle with getting rid of my left handed rifles, since I know how hard they can be to acquire.
First for your consideration is a Ruger M77 Mark II that started life as a 30-06 in a laminate stock and stainless barrel, that I had Whidden Gunworks build into a 9.3x62. The rifle has a 13.5 LOP, weighs 9.13 lbs on my scale. The trigger breaks cleanly at 2.75 lbs. I have also had the rifle cerakoted gunmetal gray. It is topped with a Leupold VX 3, 3.5-10, firedot scope. The rifle is accurate. I have used it mainly on deer and pigs and have used the 286 grain PPU ammo with great success.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you’d like to see more specific pictures. I have also attached the build sheet from Whidden’s.
I have bought and sold many rifles and other items here on the forums and will be glad to provide references. I will need to have a phone conversation with the buyer to work out details of payment and shipping. Also, I have really enjoyed all the conversations I’ve been able to have with like minded folks from the forums.
I am asking $2,600 plus actual shipping from my FFL to yours for the rifle, rings and scope. I will ship insured and in a hard plastic case. Anybody who has bought a rifle from me has received it in good condition. I can accept a good personal check, a cashiers check or Zelle electronic payment. The first I’ll take it here on this thread gets dibs and we can workout phone call details via PM.
I’ll will list this only on AH for the first couple of weeks and if it doesn’t sell, I’ll list it in other places. But for now, it’s only listed here.
Thanks for looking.
