Whipped up a batch of 8-bore 3.25" today. Also, had to put an order in for more 209 primers. I've been shooting the 8-bore a lot.

2735fps, nothing blistering. It’s just a proven load for this rifle. It has shot great with great repeatability everytime Ive taken it to the range. It shoots the same with IMR-4064 also.

Recently I have been steady at the loading bench making 318WR (using 250 gr Woodleigh’s snd experimenting with 210 gr CEBs. Also loading 425WR using 410 gr Woodleigh’s, 400 gr Northern Precision, 401 gr and 385 gr Hammer cup point solids of my design, and lastly 350 gr Peregrines.

75gr semi spitzer with IMR3031 powder, CCI #41 primer(NATO/milspec) and Lake City brass.

Excellent in both 10” suppressed 1:8 barrel as well as 16” 1:9

Finally got some live target testing and results were better than expected; I’m not used to a 5.56 hitting with this much authority.

Entrance wound shot from elevated blind

Not a big pig by any means, but there is no testing media like live flesh and bone.

I know you said 75gr semi spitzer….but what brand of bullet?

Todays effort was prepping a batch of 450/400 3" cases.

More prepping for what will be .416 Rigby target / practice / plinking loads with Bertram 410 grain projectiles.

Loaded up a ladder for the 338/06 this weekend, found where I thought I should be and loaded up 5 rounds with 2 different charge weights and the first one shot 5/8” at 100 yds.
225 gr Speer Trophy Bonded Bear Claw
56.8 gr H380 average of 2570 fps
Good enough for the girls I run with and any things that it will be intended for. I bought the rifle from a guy that said the only load he could get to shoot was a TTSX with 4320. I have exactly 1/2 pound of 4320 left so needed something I could actually use for a while.

That’s probably as close as you can get to the perfect load in my opinion.
