SOUTH AFRICA: Bandur Safaris

Congratulations on a successful hunt and a beautiful Cape buffalo.

I spent most of my youth holidays on my grandmothers farm right next to Bandur. They must be one of the longest running outfitters in Limpopo and do so much for the community surrounding their farm. Top notch outfitter and family. Highly recommend them to anyone.
 
Another wonderful morning here at Bandur Safari's. Saw this warthog standing there just asking for a bullet so I accomodated him. It's been a great safari as usual with Pieter. Decided to take the last afternoon off and just relax before departure tomorrow.

If anyone out there is interested in a true old school style hunting safari where you track your animals instead of just spot and stalk please look at what Pieter Slabbert has to offer here at Bandur Safari's.
This style of Buffalo hunting is truly a great experience, and the quality of plains game is absolutely amazing.

Congrats on your Safari. Great that you got to both hunt and spread the Lord's word. That is special. That is also a nice bull. Which rifle did you end up using on him? Bandur is only about 40mi East of where I have been hunting in Limpopo on the Sterk River. Super nice area. Thx for sharing the hunt report.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
