Hello,

I just bought another one ... I blame my dealer who sent me the link .. When I picked my last gun, I specifically told my dealer I was done buying for a while .. and then ... not 24 hours later ,,,, he sent me this link .. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1169065820

In his email he wrote; "a $9,500 rifle package for $2,500 is for you" .. he was right .. I hit the "buy it now button" instantly .... when I picked up this rifle, the dealer said he would have bought this rifle for himself, but 375 H&H was his limit for recoil, and this one was 416 Remington Mag with more recoil.

its a Pro Hunter Elite .. see Brown Precision price list ... it shows $7,795 for a Pro Hunter Elite.

That is a hell of a deal. It might have even been enough for me to break my "wooden stocks only" clause.

Me too .. ! ! ! ... Up until now I also was a "wooden stock only" guy. But not only did I buy this Brown Precision Pro Hunter Elite .. But a couple weeks earlier I also bought ano5ther Brown Precision Elite at a bargain price .. and it was in my favorite caliber .. "425 Express" .. and it was built as a custom order on a Ruger 77 action ... another ridicules low price for such a great rifle .. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1169678082 ... and I had to put up with another non-wood stock.
 
Not the biggest fan of the two-tone, but Brown Precision makes a damn fine rifle for accuracy and hard hunting. I’ve had a few of their rifles and every one of them shot wonderfully. And while not the biggest fan for push feed once into big-bear calibers and above many custom smith have the Sako extractor or some version thereof.

Their stocks are great for heavy hitters too. While they will still prove a handful because many of the builds are quite light in comparison to wood stocked African DGR’s, the stock design does seem to help some.

They are great rifles to keep an eye out for as you will see them pop up with some regularity and at great values.

The Custom Ruger 77 in 435 express is a bit light at 9 pounds, while the Custom Remington 700 in 416 Rem Mag weighs 11 pounds. weights are loaded with scope.
 
No brainer on that deal! Great find!
