I’ll continue the LH clear out that seems to be currently happening on here. I recently bought this rifle because I could not pass up the wood. However, since buying it, I have bought 3 others for builds, so this being the most expensive one, needs to go. Early to mid 90s New Haven CRF in .270 Win with exhibition grade French walnut stock. Previous owner claimed it to be a Winchester custom shop rifle but it does not have the second stamp on the barrel, although this is apparently not uncommon. It does have a jeweled bolt and the checkering almost exactly matches that on factory rifles except done by hand, so there are indicators it could be but I am not going to pronounce it as such. You can make that decision for yourself. It was hunted and has a few light scuffs/ scratches here or there but most are only noticeable in the right light and could be easily fixed. Otherwise in excellent condition with inletted sling studs, blued grip cap, and checkered metal buttplate. Comes with a set of Talley ring/base units and a complete reloading package that includes 100 new starline brass and 250 bullets. All components except dies are new. The stick alone is worth the asking price, but I welcome offers. I may or may not accept, but I’m always curious to see other people’s valuations. $4000 plus shipping for 2 boxes(rifle, reloading package). Will ship in a hard plastic case.
