I understand what you mean as I've had the same experience, which is why I do 2 things on my leather sheaths:@UNTAMED KNIVES
For some reason I don't like friction fit sheaths. I almost lost a good knife because of one.
I prefer some sort of physical restraint over the handle to hold my knives in place but that me.

Thanks! will post final pics of this knife soonBeautiful work! The bit of handle that’s showing looks awesome!
Thanks, have seen and responded to the PMMy friend Bill @Hooked Now is coming to Zim to hunt and pick this knife up for one of his friends. He is so gracious to volunteer to pick one up for me. Please tell me how to pay and arrange this? My personal details are being PM to you
He reached out to me and is having it picked up locally in Zim later this month.how??
If the website is not available tomorrow, you can always shoot me a personal message. We can take care of the ordering that way.He reached out to me and is having it picked up locally in Zim later this month.
Guys, if you haven’t yet sent me a PM to book one please do so. I have already started working on the knives, I’m just waiting for my damn website to be finished so that I can start taking payments.
I’m getting quite frustrated with the website actually. I know it’s one of those things that’s beyond my control, but I don’t relinquish control very well.
If the website isn’t live by end of the weekend, I will have to do it all manually, ie, send a payment link individually to each person who wants a knife, which you can then use a card to pay with.
Looks smart bru. Are you laser cutting the blanks??Getting em done! Heat treat done on the entire batch over the weekend. Today I started grinding them

Yes, the blanks are laser cut to my CAD design. Because it’s stainless steel, there’s no forging like I would a high carbon blade, and because of how expensive the stainless steel is, I can’t afford to waste it! Laser cutting allows me to get the most out of the steel with as little waste as possible. It also allows me to skeletonize the tang of the handle to get some weight out and also allows better pass through of the epoxy on the handleLooks smart bru. Are you laser cutting the blanks??
Initial run is 25. I originally planned for 20 but managed to get an extra 5 out of the steel..
Only seeing this now ...... what a great initiative!
Did not go thru all 10 pages so may have missed it but how big / many is the run that you are putting out ?
Good looking knife!
