My friend Bill @Hooked Now is coming to Zim to hunt and pick this knife up for one of his friends. He is so gracious to volunteer to pick one up for me. Please tell me how to pay and arrange this? My personal details are being PM to you

@UNTAMED KNIVES
For some reason I don't like friction fit sheaths. I almost lost a good knife because of one.
I prefer some sort of physical restraint over the handle to hold my knives in place but that me.
Bob
I understand what you mean as I've had the same experience, which is why I do 2 things on my leather sheaths:
1. I make them a very deep carry. The knife is way down in the sheath.
2. I wet form the sheath to the knife. This makes the sheath very tight to the knife, so much so that I can hold that sheath upside down and shake it like a dog with a rat, and it wont fall out.

Beautiful work! The bit of handle that’s showing looks awesome!
Thanks! will post final pics of this knife soon

Thanks, have seen and responded to the PM

And here is number 1 guys! All finished up. So this is what they are all pretty much going to look like, just obviously each with unique grain in the wood.

Looks great - looking forward to getting it ordered.

He reached out to me and is having it picked up locally in Zim later this month.

Guys, if you haven’t yet sent me a PM to book one please do so. I have already started working on the knives, I’m just waiting for my damn website to be finished so that I can start taking payments.

I’m getting quite frustrated with the website actually. I know it’s one of those things that’s beyond my control, but I don’t relinquish control very well.

If the website isn’t live by end of the weekend, I will have to do it all manually, ie, send a payment link individually to each person who wants a knife, which you can then use a card to pay with.

Looks like a beauty. I check in every day to get a glimpse at #8...LOL

If the website is not available tomorrow, you can always shoot me a personal message. We can take care of the ordering that way.

Getting em done! Heat treat done on the entire batch over the weekend. Today I started grinding them

Looks smart bru. Are you laser cutting the blanks??
Yes, the blanks are laser cut to my CAD design. Because it’s stainless steel, there’s no forging like I would a high carbon blade, and because of how expensive the stainless steel is, I can’t afford to waste it! Laser cutting allows me to get the most out of the steel with as little waste as possible. It also allows me to skeletonize the tang of the handle to get some weight out and also allows better pass through of the epoxy on the handle

.

Only seeing this now ...... what a great initiative!

Did not go thru all 10 pages so may have missed it but how big / many is the run that you are putting out ?

Good looking knife!

Initial run is 25. I originally planned for 20 but managed to get an extra 5 out of the steel.

If you would like one then shoot me a PM

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
