I have read a book about one of these being used on safaris in .460 Wby . That had a MKV action with red dot sight for in jungle use . Compact handy and lot of thunder .

Back in the 70's Tasco was the leader in the industry of Telescopes and Microscopes. I have used a dozen Tasco scopes over the years and never had a problem with any of them. I even have Tasco Euro scopes on my Remington 700 Safari rifles in 375 H&H and 458 Win Mag.

Here is another bullpup in my collection ... Built on a Remington 40-X action in 222 mag caliber. Built by L.H. BROWN in 1971/72 with a C.R. & P.J. HART barrel.

Some time after posting this L.H. Brown bullpup, I was contacted by Brown's Grandson. He said he would really like to buy it to have a gun built by his Grandfather. This was one of my favorite bullpups, but, it had to go back to its creators family. So I sold it to him. This was really a cool Custom build.

I was going to make a funny comment about 80s action hero’s doing hallucinogenic drugs and commissioning the Jawas from tatooine to build them a weapon but then @buckstixs went and told that story with grandsons tracking down grandfathers builds and now it is too wholesome of a story to make fun of. To help with reuniting one of that gentleman’s pieces with his family is commendable.

Nah, I think it’s fine to still poke a little fun. I agree it’s totally cool to help a grandson unite with one of his grandfather’s creations, but doesn’t rub 80’s parachute pants and Miami vice feel off. If my grandad built it, I’d want it too. Being as he didn’t, I think it was perfectly placed in Mr. Buckstix’s collection. He is a gent of varied and unique tastes, so he is the perfect non-familial individual to truly appreciate such a…..a..a..a…..rifle-like thing.

Cool one-of-a-kind, but follow up shots, I bet, are slow and cumbersome. Follow up rolling block shots are probably faster. But no one can deny its coolness!

I wouldnt buy that thing.

In the heat of moment, while in standing position in the field, I would not be able to cycle the bolt, while having a bull pup shouldered. It is too close to my face.
Ergonomy.

Maybe its a matter of training?
Well, I dont have such training.

I did fire some semi auto bull pups, and I can manage that. The issue here is to tolerate ejected casings near the face.
I can manage that.
But thats all from me.
