Yes, about a week or so ago. I am in the process of moving. So will start breaking it in next month.Did you take possession of your Shikari yet?
You won’t find a better man than Anthony at NT Firearms Gove.Have owned a few rifles that could be classed as DG rifles...
CZ 550 .458WM
Zastava M70 .375H&H
Zastava M70 .375Wby
CZ550 Safari Magnum (Kudu Services custom) .458WM
Winchester M70 .458WM
Zastava M70 .458WM
Zastava M70 .458WM
But now I just own the 1... a Zastava M70 425 Express custom built by NT Firearms Gove.
I really like it... CRF, light, accurate, powerful and stupidly reliable. Plus, being a custom rifle, it's the only one like it...
It has the same ballistics as a .404 Jeffery, a 400gn DGX at 2300 fps, or a 360gn Atomic29 copper HP at 2500 fps.
It's fitted with Warne bases and rings and a Leupold VXII 1-4x and I just love everything about this setup.
This will be the last rifle to ever leave my safe...

Anthony has the 458JCE Reamer - just saying. You won’t find a better man than Anthony at NT Firearms Gove.
We look forward to your future hunting reports with the Rigby battery!I too have come full circle. I was talking to @Fatback this weekend and it seems we are all similar. we buy the caliber we want not in the final brand of what we want. We experiment until we know both the caliber and action types we want then buy our ultimate top end brand we can afford both buying and selling rifles along the way. I am a Rigby man. I now have my three rifle Rigby battery that will take any animal comfortably on this earth and am finally happy so now no longer focus on guns at all only hunts and memories
Always smile when I see 450NE and Heym in the same sentence. Such a wonderful combination.M70 458wm current mfg

He’s certainly a master with his stock work.Current battery for hunting in Africa:
Pre-64 Model 70 300 H&H, with a 4-12 Schmidt & Bender
Interarms Mark X in 375 H&H, with the stock done by Roger Renner
Roger is an artist. He does wonderful work, and the photo doesn't do justice to how well that rifle handles. He can be reached at rjrenner@protonmail.com.He’s certainly a master with his stock work.
I understand. My 475 Linebaugh has a healthy snarl to it at recoil. I prefer my 480 Ruger to the Linebaugh.Nice collection. I Just sold my Freedom Arms 475 Linebaugh. I did not enjoy shooting it. I do however enjoy shooting my Brno 458 Lott but the 475 Linebaugh revolver is flat out painful to shoot! I hope the new owner enjoys it more!

Thanks! I become of aware of RJ Renner about two years ago. He did wonderful work on @Luvthunt custom AHR CZ 550 416 Rigby. Really slimmed down the factory wood stock turning it into a work of art. If I were to keep my last remaining CZ 416 Rigby, I would send it off to RJ Renner but that rifle is destined to be delivered to my outfitter’s firearms dealer in SA in 7 months, ultimately to be used as a camp/loaner gun.And his Gunsinternational page is: https://www.gunsinternational.com/g...ck-designs-by-r-j-renner.cfm?gun_id=103517435
Hell, that’s not modest. That’s a perfect African battery for any scenario and North America too. I can’t imagine anything better for Africa. Here is my modest battery of rifles. From left to right: Ruger M77 Hawkeye African 35 Whelen, Winchester Model 70 Safari Express 375 H&H (South Carolina Made), AHR Dangerous Game Rifle 404 Jeffery, and a Ruger M77 MKII Safari Magnum 458 Lott. 3 out of the 4 were purchased from our incredible forum members.
