What are some of your favorites? Figured I would post here because this forum gets a lot more activity?

I picked up a copy of Safari by Tony Park while in Kruger. It was an enjoyable hunting / murder mystery read. I just looked and you can order a copy on Amazon

The Hawk Alone, by Jack Bennett is one of my favorite fiction novels about Africa. Ita available on Amazon or ebay

Check out author Gordon Wallis. He's got about 8 books out in a series. Most based in Africa. Very good.

Elspeth Huxley's Murder on Safari is a fun read.

Anyone ever read Africa Tusk by Eric Heisner? I ran across it at random just the other day.

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
