What a great 2026 SCI convention last week in Nashville, Tennessee. Below are a few taxidermy pictures from the convention:

Replica snow leopard - I was so amazed by this artwork and trophy mount that I went to the Conroe Taxidermy booth nearby and asked them how they got a real snow leopard into the states…they replied its a replica. The only snow leopard mount, replica or otherwise, that I have ever seen.

Replica South American jaguar and a brown hyena. Both stunning. I like the big rosettes on the jaguar compared to a leopard.

Keep em coming. Always love good taxidermy. Thanks for taking the time to post them.

Thanks for sharing was on the floor Friday and Saturday, Friday was so packed didn’t get to see as much as I wanted and Saturday was playing catch up talking so didn’t get time to take the full show in.
4 days is the only way to do it right.

Keep the pics coming.

Will have to try and get the pic outta my phone. But the mountain goat with snow melt dripping into its mouth was my favorite.
I couldn’t get a good pic with all the people in aw around it, Chris and his crew do some incredible work. One of my favorites of the show for sure!

My favorites were the Lord Derby Eland, the Cri Cri Ibex and the Markhor.

I didn't look closely at the 2 cat's at the entrance to the main hall, but you are right, one was a leopard and one a Jaguar. Sharp eyes.

The LDE at the Mayo Oldiri booth is the MACHO GRANDE of Lord Derby Eland.

The big display at the main entrance had two each of the big five. Two elephants, two buffalo, two lion, two rhino (one black & one white), and two leopards . . both are leopards.
The only "Jaguar" I saw was the replica at the taxidermy booth #2124, but there may have been others.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
