One of our hunters has had to postpone his 2026 safari due to work commitments, which means a rare opportunity has just opened up at Bos & Dal Safaris.

We strictly manage our hunting quotas to ensure sustainability and superior trophy quality, so the release of one additional kudu tag is something that doesn’t happen often. Every kudu hunted with us is free-ranging, born and bred on our land or naturally migrated in, never being part of a put-and-take system.

Our kudu herds are self-sustaining, thriving under carefully managed conditions that reflect our passion for true conservation hunting.

The upcoming safari dates, 5–16 May, fall right in the heart of the kudu rut, offering the hunter a prime opportunity to pursue one of our exceptional bulls.

Hunting is conducted on a fair-chase basis, spot-and-stalk and glassing through the scenic hill country in the eastern section of the property, where mature bulls roam in their natural element.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience a genuine, ethical kudu hunt in prime conditions, this is your chance. Availability is limited to this single opening.
Part of his package was also a buffalo bull and with us only offering 2 bulls a year this is also available during this hunt

Cost
$390 per day hunting 1x1; arrival and departure days are free of charge
Trophy kudu bull: $3520
Buffalo Bull: $9800

Other animals can be added from our standard 2026 price list.

Here are some of our kudu and buffalo hunted on our property.

Someone needs to jump on this!
I can tell you this is no easy hunt to take a great Kudu. I have done six trips with Gerrit and his team. I have spent over 90 days in those six trips in camp there. There are some great Kudu and Buff on the property and you will earn them. Between the thick bush, mountains and valleys in back it is a challange. I have taken 3 Kudu, 55,56,and 58 inches from this property. One in particular “Narrow Horn” as we named him. I first saw him and got glimpses of him in 2019.
I returned after Covid in 2021 and spend 20 days there hunting and looking for him with only a couple brief sightings at great distances. 2022 I returned with a mission to hunt him, booked 21 days. We saw him for brief glimpses on and off. He traveled the entire property from the front to the back and liked hanging out in the Mountain in back. Rikus and I finally figured out his routine and on day 17 or 18 we caught him mid day making one of his moves. We had figured out he only made his moves from one area to another about mid day when you are usually in camp for lunch. These kudu are smart and a challange to hunt.
I have also taken a massive Buff bull there and we spent several days tracking and loosing him in the rocks and valleys before he finally slipped up and gave me a shot.
If I wasn’t already booked for this year I would have taken up this great offer.
If anyone has questions about Bos en Dal feel free to message me.

I'd add that more than a dozen regular users of AH, and I'd guess another dozen of not so regular users of AH have all hunted with Bos en Dal at this point... lots of references available if needed that can tell you first hand what their experience was like, what they thought of the hunting, the camp, the staff, etc..etc..
