Your 3 favorite hunting cartridges of all time

Why would you do that, the 06 is just a passing fad.:ROFLMAO:
Sorry, I couldn't resist (y)
@Rule 303
Ya never know if it hangs around long enough it may become the next best thing.
Give it a 1:8 twist and some nice 270gn pointy bullets and call it the 06 longranger and it would become the next darling of the long range crowd
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

That or I could try necking it up to33, 35, 375 and 400 cal and try necking it down to 280, 270 and 25 cal, see how those cartridges go :ROFLMAO: ......................oh wait that's already been done:A Bang Head::ROFLMAO:

The ones I’ve had the most success with:

.243 Win
7MM REM MAG
.375 H&H

I replaced my Righthand 300 WBY in a Winchester with a Lefthand 300 RUM for specific longer range hunting, not much difference in performance. It was just the best option from the custom rifle builder at the time… 300 WBY Magnum is a great caliber!

223 WSSM - painfully traded towards a Nilgai hunt, but worth it.
300 WSM - my favorite all time go to rifle that’s killed just about everything I wanted.
458 B&M - the newest favorite, she sure is high maintenance & kicks back hard.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?
