As to history. I know of the event to which you’re referring. No doubt it was long over a couple of centuries before you were born. Perhaps you can list what parties you’ve hosted or been the guest of honour ?

But it is tragic that thomas sewell is the only aussi that actually is willing to go to prison to stand up for austrailians. Even if his politics is a bit spicy but objectivly hes the best yall currently got to work with.

My street credit stands on its own and I have a very strong foundation in FID and UW. maybe not to the same level as some but Ive danced with the best. And ive even played with some aussies around the world solid fighters shame some went to prison trying get aussiland to help pay for uni in afganistan.

And since you cant stomach a few light hearted jokes we will be very candid.
If you dont stand up and are willing to fight in whatever legal capacity is available to you.
Because your life is too comfortable to be uncomfortable. You deserve to lose the rights your not willing to fight for.

Australia, much like the west coast of the USA is a lost cause. Australia is just a little further down the path. My hope is that dont live long enough to end up in a camp of some flavor here.

I can agree somewhat with the "keyboard ninja" thing. But the thing is, that is a form of moral support from like minded people who wish you peace and freedom. The harder truth is that any form of call to arms is an invitation for you to commit yourself to long term resistance and labor for legislative change. It will not be fast or easy. William Wilberforce of England spent 40 years opposing slavery before Parliament outlawed it. If you do less, if you neglect to plant trees your grandchildren will sit under, then you are likely to bequeath them a future without freedom. You don't have to like the choices thrust upon you in these times. But they are the times you are assigned.
I think the suggestion of massive non compliance is excellent, but there will be prison martyrs before the government learns they cannot imprison all of Australia.
If you lose the ability to protect yourselves, history is replete with resultant governmental slaughters, and I am in no wise exaggerating, friend. Anyone in the geographic position your country is in has to also consider invaders. WWII comes to mind.
In politics, those that stay mad the longest, are the loudest, and generally the biggest pain in the butt are the ones who win. Look at all the rioting and street packing the Islamists get away with--are they better than you, or have more rights. Politicians fear them. They don't fear you, but that could change. Gun Control in Mexico too my knowledge leaves Australia in the dust. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't there only 1 gun store in Mexico for civilians to legally buy firearms and it is owned & operated by the Mexican Military, correct me if I am wrong.
