Good evening fellow AHers. I am in the process of moving and in doing so, I am finding lots of things I have stored out away and haven’t used in years.

When I purchased these clothes/jackets I was a much bigger fellow. These are all 3XLs, I now wear XL sized clothes. All Cabela’s clothes were purchased prior to the merger with BassPro and are of good quality. I have no need for these anymore and will be selling them. Figured I’d offer them here first.

I have bought and sold here many times. I feel confident that several members will vouch for me.

I can accept a good personal check or Zelle as payment. I’ll be glad to exchange phone numbers and discuss or answer any questions. The first I’ll take here in the thread has dibs on the item. We can then exchange PMs to work out payment and shipping details. All prices include shipping.

Item 1. Cabela’s Whitetail Parka. I purchase this in 2005 for my first Canadian deer hunt. Asking $140

All items are in really good shape. If there are any questions or if my asking prices seem out of line let me know and make an offer. If somebody is interested in all items let me know and I’ll give a 10% discount for the entire package. Thanks for looking.

I appreciate the kind words @Rare Breed. In 2018, at age 45, I was 320 lbs and had been that big since high school. I was an offensive lineman in high school and college and just stayed that big into adulthood.

My desire to hunt a Dall sheep was one of the main catalysts to me loosing the weight. Took me a year and I lost 90 lbs.

I stay between 225 and 230 now. I was able to shoot my ram in 2021, right after Canada open back up from Covid.

Before with my oldest daughter.

@Fatback - what an impressive improvement in your Fitness level and the discipline to lose 90 lbs….not many men could do that (lose 90 lbs at age 45 AND stay FIT enough to go on a Dall Sheep hunt) = IMPRESSIVE. The older I get the more important it is to stay in shape and maintain healthy weight. I’ve always worked out w/weights to keep in shape and use to run as well. When I was 30 I could carry 193 lbs on my 5’ 11” frame and still run 5 miles but as I got older decided to drop down to 180lbs and that has helped me keep in better shape - especially for walking, climbing, and general stamina. Unfortunately friends that I hunted with all my life did NOT keep in shape and can no longer join me for many hunts….so I hunt alone more often or with my Son and some younger guys. If you love the outdoors then it’s important to stay in shape so that you can enjoy it longer.
>>> SUGGESTION: change your AH Name from Fatback to “FITback”

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
