That looks great! Congrats!

Wow. What a rifle! Seeing as we're talking scopes, has anyone any experience (good or bad) of using a "tactical" style LPVO scope on a medium bore? Like a Sig or Razor? Just thought about how similar they all look. Thanks Fellas!

i had a night force 2.5 x10x32 on my cz safari mag in 375,it was great and had the velocity reticle which funny enough worked out good with 375 270 grain projectile, ended up selling the cz only because i had a holland in 375 and decided to use it,wished id kept the scope!!

I used a Steiner 1-4x24 on my Model 70 in 375H&H it was a great scope. True 1x so you could shoot with both eyes open has a lighted dot and the scope is not busy.

What about something like a Leopold VX11 fixed 2.5 x, a very light and robust scope, I had one mounted on my 416 Rigby prior to getting the z61 1-6 ×24 EE.

Thanks! I was sure I'd wouldn't put a scope on,but changed my mind a have a Lieca Fortus 1-4 red dot coming as well as fully detachable Osuma mounts. I'll see how I go with the scope, the mounts are medium and interchange with Sako rings,so if it's to high I'll get low rings...making sure there's no ejection angle problems. I was going for a Swarovski z8 but really don't like the rear battery set up. All my mates that shoot all ended up getting smacked I'm probably next!

That's why you want the Z6i EE, not made anymore but the best scope for big bore rifles with 4.75 in eye relief, the little Leopold has 4.9in.

yep lots of good scopes not made...i like Nightforce too. The Lieca is right up there with the best, although i was pretty much set for a SB 1x8,with the 1 power cc reticle till i found out it was over 7000 nz,the Z8 was 4700 but 6 months out, while the Lieca was more, glass wise it was better, and was a true 1 power daylight bright both eyes open scope, and light, which will help the scope recoil in the mounts.

Eye relief is lacking on most, Swarovski z6EE is the best DG scope made but going for rediculas prices now, if and when they show up. But the that cheap little fx2 from Leopold is good also.

If you put a scope on her then I’d make sure you have a packet of band-aid’s on hand.

If you must scope her why not use the Sako’s optilock mount/rings ?

Good luck.

Yep big bandaid...the scope will be in detach, mounts as for optilock qd,s you can't get them hence the Osuma fully qd mounts made for the xl action. So thankfully once detached there's nothing on the rifle and is unmarked. The Lieca has 90mm relief, a bit more at 1 power and I won't be using it at higher mag,s that's if I use it at all.

heres a few pics of it compared to a 1922 Holland in 375 (please excuse the mess..im renovating a house)

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
