No.

Not even once.

Name-calling and rabid disagreement and butthurt whining..........none of that is refutation.

Study this to learn what refutation is........

refutation:

A refutation proves that something is false. Refutations pop up often in law debates and philosophical arguments.

While a validation tells you something is true, a refutation does the opposite: it says or proves that something is untrue, refuting the claim. In court, a witness might offer a refutation of a suspect's alibi to show he's lying.
The man is nothing if not consistent.

I blocked this character some days ago. You are attempting to debate a troll - the sort of informed interactive discussion about which he has zero interest. As I noted earlier, his behavior is to ignore counter argument and simply offer typically sophomoric gotcha lines or the latest leftist X talking point. That sort of pseudo-academic nonsense once was, and perhaps still is heard in the self-congratulatory conclusions drawn in a college snack bar by the deep thinkers with six hours of history and three of philosophy. Now, these pre-adults (regardless of actual age) haunt online discussion. You really should review his few non-politics forum contributions. He is clueless about the core subjects of this forum.

I finally succumbed and hit the magic button. I’ve been trying to ignore the thread, but perhaps just ignoring the trolls will work.

Biden is not the only POTUS that has used the autopen. I doubt they can make a case to just void his usage. I wish the GOP would learn about Pyrrhic victories and spend their time productively. They have a bit over a year before the midterms and most likely will lose the House.

I was going to post something similar. No idea why this is actually being looked into, I dont find this to be the best use of Pam Bondi's time and feel this issue is better left to memes rather than tax payer dollars.

Overstatement- I am enjoying and in many cases agree with him.

How do you feel about the statement. "From the river to the sea"?

Also, I read in a previous post that you don't plan on hunting Africa. Do you plan to hunt or have you ever hunted Africa?

Hey @Frostbite, I’ve noticed you have played a couple of victim cards and claim Agent Orange exposure. Have you been hitting the medical pot a little too hard lately? You claim to be a 79 year old with a poor farmer background. As a youngster, do you remember ever seeing rusty metal cans around the farm with labels like “2-4-D, 2-4-5-T” ? Very common herbicides back in the 40s-50s-60s. Just curious…

I’ve been semiretired for a while, but my last trial I never heard a lawyer use the term refutation. And I am 100% certain the judge did not.

It will be interesting to learn how he argues with a veteran judge and life long attorney about courtroom protocols, terminology, or judicial process..

that should be pretty funny..

I am trying to stay out of politics so I will pass on that one. I just dont like what is going on in Israel.right now and leave it at that.

I have hunted most of my life - from Michigan farm lands to the lava beds outside of Burney, Ca to western and eastern Oregon. I have hunted ducks, deer quail, bear, elk and squirrels. I have a few firearms and have been recently more involved in Trap shooting. I suck at it because of the diabetes has effected my eyesight. I often serve as the RSO at my rifle club.

I will swipe on “show ignored content” for that one.

Since we're not in court and there is no argument it can't be interesting.

And it couldn't be funnier than your posts.

theyre not cheap.. but have you tried some of the "professional" quality shooting glasses from companies like Pilla or one of their competitors?

they do a really good job of minimizing glare and also helping the eye to hyper focus on the orange bird against various color backgrounds (different lenses for different situations like a green background vs brown or overcast vs a bright day, etc).. Im also a diabetic.. and my vision isnt nearly as good as it used to be.. stepping up from the more common shooting glasses like what is offered by Wylie-X or Beretta, etc.. and stepping away from my Oakley sunglasses completely, and moving into a Pilla kit changed everything for me.. it became so much easier to see the bird and focus on it... my scores shot up significantly, literally with just the first round I shot (skeet)..

They offer prescription lenses as well..

I have not - was thinking about getting a perscription done on an oakley frame. I use my daily perscription glasses now. The problem is that while I am shooting the bird disappears as I have some spots that I dont see well in. Another issue is I used to be right eye dominant and now due to degradation in my right eye my left eye is dominant. Thank you for the recommendation on the Pilla kit. I will definitely look into them. Looking at picking up a Brodayway Trap the end of this week so I can shoot left handed. My 870 and my 1100 dont work so well left handed. Kind of a mess when it comes to figuring out how to shoot trap. When I was younger 23 out of 25 was pretty common, now I am doing well to break double digits. I am sorry you have diabettes - it sucks.

And what do we have now?

Our only hope is to vote for divided government.

If one side or the other gets power they will overstep.

Like Trump is overstepping now.

Divided government is our only hope--because a divided government fights with itself and gets nothing done.

And nothing done is exactly what we need from government.
Not in all cases. We needed the border more secured.

thankfully mine is pretty well managed... regrettably it was pretty self induced.. I just didnt take care of myself for several years.. but I listened to my doc really closely, dropped a good bit of weight, got back on the exercise path, etc.. and got on a few pills (that I absolutely hate having to take.. but I suppose thats all part of getting old)... I generally keep an A1C around a 6.0-6.1 now..

All of that said, I managed to go from perfect 20/20 vision my entire life to 20/25 now (not horrible.. but definitely noticeable after having perfect vision for the first 50+ years).. that combined with astigmatism gives me some blurry vision and distortion at distances and can make me a little more sensitive to glare than I used to be...

Prior I mostly shot just wearing a typical set of oakley sunglasses, or occasionally would wear a set of wiley-x shooting glasses if it was overcast out or getting closer to dark.. I didnt realize how much my eyes were effecting my ability to shoot until I tried the Pillas.. I just thought I was losing my skill set, hadnt practiced enough, etc..

My youngest daughter was a competitive shotgunner, so we bought her a set of pillas with I think 5 different lenses for a christmas present one year.. she loved them, but I never thought twice about them until I just happened to try them on one day after she had them for a while.. it was like night-day difference for me in how clear the birds became and how much easier it was to track them..

I talked to my eye doc about them and he confirmed that the better polarization, the shade of the lenses (purple, orange, etc depending on conditions) would be much better for me for shooting because of the eye conditions I have... so I invested pretty deep into a set.. I think I ended up spending almost $700 once it was all said and done... but probably saved $700 in missed birds in just a year lol.. you can spend a lot more than that (some guys drop a couple of grand in their shooting glasses).. or you can spend a good bit less.. I think we only spent maybe $300 on our daughters kit..

Zeiss produces the glass for Pilla.. so very precise, high quality, etc..

But it has become obvious that a lot of things we DIDN'T need came along with it.

Golden ballrooms, perks for billionaires, mass murder and intentional starvation in Palestine, helping Russia stall so they can steal more land, the tariff tax increase and inflation, poor people losing health care, a twenty billion dollar gift to Argentina, a gift of millions for Trump's legal expenses, farmers going broke, Nutty Kennedy in charge of our health, government workers fired for no reason, Executive orders signed that are immediately ruled illegal by the courts, war on colleges.........it's insane.

That's the problem I'm talking about.

Both sides have at least one good idea.

But once they get the power they go too far with other "ideas."

In your lack of refutation you try to change the subject to me and my generation.

You'd do a lot better to try to get serious.
It's hard to be serious when debating a clown..... in regards to your generation, I was being serious.

Dead serious!

Probably get a set after the first of the year. My left eye is 20/20 but my right is 20/40-50. Maybe its time to start fishing. Thanks for the info.

He won't, now that he's been tipped off.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
