I've worked as an outsourcer and I've worked for many Fortune 500s where we did indeed outsource. That's all well and fine, but when companies import foreign labor and literally have Americans training their foreign H1B Visa replacement, that is very bad for the country.
That really isn't a free market, its a loophole. You're bringing in impoverished foreigners that will work below market wages in the domestic market. These foreign H1B workers are more likely to need government services because they are underpaid, and the American citizen that lost their job creates a negative cascading effect on the State through less income taxes, potential need to downsize or move to a cheaper location, etc. (reducing property values, for example)
I have no problem with H1B visas costing $100,000, the best and brightest global talent are going to pay the $100k because they are going to be earning $300k-$1m in salary here in the USA. (AI master architects, cardiac surgeons, etc.)

Overnight you have 10+ people living in 3 bedroom houses with imported tech workers that were hired at "market rate" which is PC code word for as cheap as possible.
If you would have told me 20 years ago that Frisco Texas would be 40% Indian and the local parks would have Cricket fields built on them I would have slapped you..... Doubt what I'm saying? just go into the Costco in Frisco Texas on a Saturday afternoon!
Some years back Disney tried the same thing with their park employees, telling them that if they trained their replacements they would receive severance pay; if they didn't train their replacements they would get nothing and fired immediately - only public backlash made them abandon the move.

I hate to interrupt the outrage machine but it appears that getting your news from Youtube is a tad unwise.
The police apparently were investigating a minor for creating a false online account in someone else's name and using it to send out indecent and offensive messages. The young woman they wanted to speak to was a suspect in the case.
UK cops deny arresting girl over social media post, probe ‘indecent messages’ sent from fake account
West Midlands Police on Sunday pushed back at viral claims that officers were probing a child for merely viewing a post.

I dont think that’s Disney caving… I think that’s Disney taking advantage of a business opportunity…
It’s no secret that Disney remains a “woke” business enterprise or that they lean corporately hard left…
No different than when the right rallied when Chik-fil-a got assaulted by a left wing movement (I still hear idiots refer to CfA as “hate chicken” to this day, and turned CfA into a wildly profitable and rapidly expanding franchise… Disney is betting that leftists that 3 weeks ago barely knew who Kimmel was will tune in to see and hear him now… and they’ll reap in the rewards of being who put him on the air..
Kimmel himself isn’t unpopular… he’s actually one of the most popular late night hosts right now… what’s unpopular is late night television… the talk show format on late night tv is dying on the vine… he needed to get out and find a new venue anyway IMO…
What surprises me is that Kimmel went for the Disney deal…
Were I him, I’d replicate what Megyn Kelley and others have done when their shows got cancelled… I would have developed my own show, found my own investor(s), and bought a domain on the internet that incorporates my name… within 30 days I would be back on “the air” and would have cut out the middle man in the process…
Those same leftists that never knew him before that will now be tuning into Disney, could have been tuning into “kimmelproductions.com” and he would have made all of the money, rather than some of it, with very limited risk or personal investment involved…
Jimmy is clearly all entertainer, and zero % businessman… unless Disney offered him something truly outrageous that just couldn’t be refused… which I think is unlikely.. in addition to Disney being known for woke, they are also well known for being cheap, and for being ruthless..
