Hello all, what would you reccomend to fit a Trijicon to this so as to get the very lowest mount?
As you know I am fond of the Henneberger mounts that saddle the rib, and that could go between the claw scope mounts, but is there a clever mount that would go onto the back claw mount?
Many thanks,
Kevin

I meant to say Trijicon RMR.
Would you be opposed to a inconspicuous cut on both sides of the rib between the other mounting slots to accommodate and more standard compression RMR mount? I believe that JJ Peredeau does that type of modification regularly.

That is a possibility Franz. I am going to view the rifle today to get a better idea.

I second franz’s plan

I believe there are some threads on here where members have shown what those cuts look like. They are almost imperceptible unless you are looking for them.

Trijicon RMR is a great sight. Have used 4 different ones for years on handguns and on a 416 and a Lott. From Kodiak and other Alaska to Africa several trips.

I would recommend a closed emitter optic on a hunting rifle. Open emitters will have issues from dust, rain, mud, etc. All things you can encounter reasonably on a hunt. The age of open emitter handguns is ending. They are primarily used as backup optics now or as a concealed carry optic or home defense gun where you know the optic will not be exposed to outside elements.

I'd recommend taking a look at the Trijicon RCR, Holosun EPS, Holosun 509T, and similar RMR footprint enclosed emitter options.

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
